Infrared Sauna

Infrared Saunas are saunas that use heat and light to help relax and detoxify the body. Infrared light waves create heat in the body causing you to sweat and release stored "toxins."

Red light therapy also known as photobiomodulation (PBM), low level light therapy (LLLT), specific wavelengths of red light create a biochemical affect in our cells that serves to increase mitochondrial function. This improves ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production in the body.

ATP is the source of energy for every cell in the body. Without it, we don’t function at all. Without enough of it, we don’t function well.

Within a few seconds, my legs began to feel strangely prickly. Somewhat alarmed—was my skin burning?—I reached down and touched my shin. No; it was simply beads of sweat, beginning to gather, droplet-like, all over the surface of my legs. Not long after that, my whole torso was sweaty. Soon, I was one big, sweaty mess.

The thirty minutes passed quickly; I lay in a peaceful, state of half-sleep for the entire duration of the session. I was almost asleep when the soft beeping noise sounded, indicating that my session was up. When I emerged from the warm cocoon of the sauna, my body was entirely coated in a layer of sweat, but I didn’t feel “gross” like I might have after a spin class. I felt, well, refreshed. Cleansed. My leg muscles, in particular, felt noticeably limber and light, as though all of the knots and tight spots had been loosened up.

Did I feel better after the session? The answer is a resounding “yes.” The day following my appointment, my perpetually stiff lower body felt much lighter, alleviated of the usual aches and pains. Also, the experience was undoubtedly relaxing—when else do you lie comatose for thirty minutes, surrounded by a soothing cocoon of warmth? It’s like being at the beach without the harmful UV rays.

Did my sauna session burn 600+ calories, zap cellulite, and purge my body of toxins? Well, it’s hard to tell. I would probably need to go back on a regular basis in order to fully reap the benefits and get visible I've purchased a package deal and we'll see!

When I emerged from the sauna room, Angel said , “Oh you got “the glow!’” I wasn’t near a mirror yet, and took what she said with a grain of salt. Until I went into the bathroom and saw my reflection, and my skin truly was glowing. Not oily, not sweaty, straight-up backstage model glowing…I continued to notice “the glow” for the next few days, and have already booked my next session… Not only did I see noticeable skin differences after one session, it was the most relaxing 30 minutes I’ve had since…probably being in the womb.


Sat in the sauna for 30 minutes, and after I was done I felt like a new man. Didn’t feel sick at all and actually felt well enough to go to work. I had a headache, body aches, a stuffy nose and a mild cough. When I left from the sauna, I felt relief from most of the symptoms.
